[thoughtless]

It has been very very long since my last post...don't know why just don't feel blogging in xanga, don't feel blogging in English.

Everything here becomes so strange to me. I guess that's the power of time...

Life goes pretty well, and most importantly, I become happier with my current uni life finally...

and I found something which is more important than grades, degrees, certificates...I enjoy endless learning from life experiences, meeting with different exciting people...

Thank you all those who had and continuously inspired me a lot :)

[回归Xanga]

[all the best, 黄城夜韵]

Browse through 06S79's class blog, and found this very interesting theory:

"If revision for Blocks (tests) were to be a reaction, the substrates required for it to occur would be time and practice. The products would be good grades and satisfaction. The catalysts are intelligence and dilligence. One main inhibitor would be procrastination.

Oh, and the waste products are stress and panda eyes."

.......

Ever since I left HC, 我就已经远离了panda eyes的日子.

in fact, it's more in a inversely proportionate relationship.

.......

[SEP Life]

It seems that my blog has stagnant again, not because I don't want to update it, but really too tired for the past few nights. Not to mention the numerous tempting HK drama series in Fudan intranet...hee!

Had 3 official school days, with monday as my free day.

My 1st class in Fudan was a total shock. It's a 8am morning class, by the time I rushed there 2 mins past 8am, the whole classroom was already full, with some ppl standing at back. So I joined the standing crowd at back. It was a japanese language class. I was surprised at their teaching speed, guess the whole semester syllabus will finish in 3 weeks in NUS...Anyway, I made my mind immediately, endured for 45 min and quickly escaped the class during break time.

The next day, 8am class again. Luckily uncle drove my bike to hostel the night before, cycling frm hostel to classroom blk takes much shorter time than walking...Wednesday classes were quite okay. I'm taking 2 classes with the other few yr 2 sg students there. Lunch was with almost all the Singaporeans in Fudan and we had to separate to 2 big tables...

I have felt so happy and greatful in fudan, and felt so well taken care of by the Singapore Student Association here, esp Zhenyuan. At least, you won't feel helpless here, and even the administration here is not as bad as what I heard. In fact, they are comparable to NUS.

Let me list down all the points to show that Fudan is so much better than NUS:

1. International student dorm is sooooooo much better than PGP...basically everything is better, including the management, security, facility etc.

2. You won't feel blurblur as a new comer in school. In fact, you are so well taken care of by the sg students here. They will tell you and help you whenever needed. But on the other island, pls figure out/find your own way...

3. So many interesting modules offered here, and as an exchange student, just get a piece of paper and let the teacher sign will do...No bidding, won't short of points, no unnecessary troubles...

4. Home is nearby to provide you the greatest shelter. No need to worry for no one help you to shift. I even brought in a small fridge and my hamster in my room. The first-time cleaning was also done by my mum...and the room is so much cleaner than that super dirty PGP room when I first move-in.

5. So many restaurants, convenient shops, supermarkets etc nearby. I know clementi also has...But there're so many nice food delivery service aka "Wai Mai" here, even canteen 倒了, like the one in PGP, you don't haf to worry for food source at least...

6. There is even a learning Cantonese CCA in fudan...That's so great! It seems like it specially caters to me...haha! I know there shld be numerous Hong Kong ppl in NUS, so what???

7. Fudan intranet has lots online sharing videos, movies, dramas, softwares available...I don't even feel to go back home as home = no intranet = no drama...But the other island bans you for all the sharing and downloading as it is illegal and we haf to follow the law and regulation. But they got legal campus tv channels, as if we bother to watch that few boring channels...with poor resolution somemore...arghhh!

8. I still feel the best transportation within campus is cycling. Don't have to worry for the super crowded A1, A2 and as a result of late for lecture, or rush back just for that last shuttle bus. It is environmental friendly, helps to keep fit, affordable...

I am sure there are more points can be added. hee!

But I am greatly appreciated that NUS allows me to come here and explore the differences...

*@ home now and miss the sch intranet drama...*
